Performs general and routine cleaning to ensure an orderly, clean, environment.  Manages work processes, quality, service, and costs in manner consistent with customer satisfaction.  Performs additional duties as requested.  Interacts with patient and families based on knowledge of periods of growth and development.

Must be in good physical condition and able to withstand the stress and demands of an active position.

Must be able to withstand many long hours of standing, walking, stooping, bending and sitting.

Must have lifting ability of 15 to 35 pounds plus furniture, equipment and cart moving.

Must be able to operate mechanical floor care equipment
