Job Summary

Responsible for compliance to all Joint Commission requirements regarding Planned and Preventative maintenance of hospital equipment and systems.  Acts as the administrator of the Preventative Maintenance Software Program and makes adjustments as necessary to maintain compliance.  Works closely with Construction, Mechanical and HVAC coordinators during construction to ensure that all applicable equipment is added to the PM Software Program.  Works with regulatory agencies on inspections as required and maintains the Policy and Procedure Manuals for Facilities.  Also responsible for assisting with Education and Compliance Programs for staff.  Works closely with internal and external customers to ensure communications and projects are on track.  Responsible for the dispatching of work orders received in the TMS System.

Job Requirements

Two year Associates Degree or equivalent college course work or license in electrical or mechanical field.  Minimum of 3 years experience in related field.  Must display familiarity with computer system programs/operations, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.  Knowledgeable of OSHA, NFPA, DHEC, EPA, and JCAHO standards and regulations.  Experience with the training/education of employees a plus.
